Booking & Tickets

Do you sell airline tickets directly?

No. Holiday Travel Tour is a flight search and comparison platform — not a travel agency. We do not sell tickets. When you click a fare, you are redirected to the airline or a third-party booking provider. All booking contracts are between you and that provider. We are not a party to those transactions.

What happens if my booking has a problem after I purchase?

Because all purchases are made directly with airlines or third-party booking providers, any issues with your booking (changes, cancellations, refunds) must be handled directly with that provider. We recommend keeping your booking confirmation email and contacting the provider's customer service. For eligible delays or cancellations, our Flight Compensation page can help you claim what you are owed.

Can I book hotels, car rentals, or activities on your site?

Our primary focus is flight search and comparison. We also feature curated affiliate links for activities and experiences via Klook and Tiqets on select destination pages. Full hotel and car rental booking is not currently available on the platform.

Pricing & Subscriptions

Is Holiday Travel Tour free to use?

Yes, the core flight search and comparison features are completely free. We also offer optional premium plans with enhanced features such as advanced price alerts, priority support, and more. We earn a commission from affiliate partners when you book through our links — at no extra cost to you.

How do I cancel my premium subscription?

Cancel anytime through your account settings. Your premium access continues until the end of your current billing period and you will not be charged again. If you need help, email support@holidaytraveltour.com within 14 days of a charge you believe is incorrect.

Do you offer refunds?

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@holidaytraveltour.com within 14 days and we will review your case.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see or store your full credit card details. Stripe handles all payment data directly.

Accounts

Do I need an account to search flights?

No. You can search flights and browse destination guides without an account. Creating a free account unlocks deal alerts, saved searches, and access to premium subscription plans.

How do I sign in?

Click 'Sign In' in the top navigation. You can sign in with your email address or use Google for a one-click login. Account management is powered by Clerk, an industry-standard authentication platform.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account through your account settings, or email us at support@holidaytraveltour.com. We will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Newsletters & Deal Alerts

Can I get price alerts for a specific route?

Yes. Subscribe to our newsletter to receive deal alerts and fare drop notifications for popular routes. Premium subscribers get enhanced personalized route alerts. You can unsubscribe at any time.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

Click the 'Unsubscribe' link in the footer of any email we send. You can also email support@holidaytraveltour.com and we will remove you from our mailing list within 10 business days.

How often do you send deal alerts?

Newsletter frequency depends on your preferences and the availability of relevant deals for your region. We aim to send only high-value alerts — not spam. You can adjust your preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

Privacy & Data

Do you share or sell my personal data?

We never sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers needed to operate the platform: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Travelpayouts (flight data), Neon (database), and Vercel (hosting). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What data do you collect?

We collect your email address (when you register or subscribe), name and message (via contact form), approximate location (from IP, server-side only for pre-filling search), and anonymized usage analytics (page views via Vercel Analytics). We do not store raw payment card data.

Do you use cookies?

We use essential cookies for authentication (set by Clerk), anonymized analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics), and a local preference cookie for your light/dark mode setting. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Flight Compensation

What is flight compensation?

Under EU Regulation EC 261/2004 and similar laws in other regions, air passengers may be entitled to compensation of up to €600 per person for flight delays of 3+ hours, cancellations, or denied boarding — where the cause was within the airline's control (not extraordinary circumstances like severe weather).

Am I eligible for compensation?

You may be eligible if your flight departed from an EU airport, or arrived at an EU airport on an EU-based carrier, and was delayed 3+ hours, cancelled without adequate notice, or you were denied boarding involuntarily. Our Flight Compensation page helps you check eligibility via AirHelp.

Do you handle compensation claims directly?

No. We partner with AirHelp, a specialist compensation claim service. We are not a legal service. If you use our compensation link to submit a claim, AirHelp manages the process independently. Their own terms and fees apply.
